I'm primarily location based; I don't usually need studio space. However, for some shoots I will rent a studio or other indoor location that suits the brief.
I sorry I don't, I’m a commercial photographer, shooting for advertising, corporate and business clients.
As it can be slightly different types of photography work, I don't publish rates online, it's best to get in touch me here directly for a quote.
I charge by the day, or half day if the location is within 90-minute drive of my Leeds base. Please note: In all circumstances I charge travel expenses.
A standard day is 8 hours, a half day is up to 4 hours, additional time would be charged.
Where is your shoot?
Most of my work is based in or around the North of England, UK. However, I am willing and able to travel to other locations as required. I regularly do this for clients who have sites spread across the UK.
I love being a professional photographer because it constantly takes me to new and interesting places.
It really varies, some months I’m almost booked up. If you'd like to work with me, the more notice you give me, the better our chances are of working together. Please get in touch here
I usually send the final edited photos over to the client by WeTransfer, Dropbox, or uploaded directly to a client’s file sharing server.
Unless requested otherwise, photographs will be sent in JPEG format at their highest resolution for traditional print media and a lower resolution for web/social media use.
TIFF files can also be sent, but they are much larger, and most clients typically do not require them.
For an extra fee, I can provide the files on an external hard drive.
These are only provided under special agreed circumstances, and there is typically an additional cost for the RAW files.

Yes, I have an extensive range of professional cameras, lenses and lighting equipment. Occasionally I might require additional lighting or specialist equipment which I hire.
Increasingly alongside photography I shoot short video clips for social media or client use, plus drone video clips.
If you should you require a fully produced corporate video, I can recommend some video production companies.
Health & Safety is taken extremely seriously; risks are regularly assessed and minimised. Where applicable, RAMS (Risks Assessment & Method Statement) are completed. These are typically required for public spaces, construction sites and factories. Click here to find out more.
All payments are to be made by electronic bank transfer or BACS. Payment details will be listed in the invoice I send out. Payment terms are agreed in advance and a deposit may be required in some certain circumstances.
A booking is considered firm as from the date of confirmation, bookings can only be confirmed via email, electronic message, or in writing from the client, agency or advertiser.
The photographer will, at his discretion, charge a fee for cancellation or postponement, in addition to any expenses incurred.
3 to 6 working days’ notice: 50% of fee + all expenses
2 working days or less notice: 100% of fee + all expenses
If the shoot has to be postposed, a rescheduled shoot would be prioritised rescheduling at the earliest opportunity to avoid incurring any cancellation fees.

Typically, I do not sell the copyright to any of my photographs. The commissioned photography is provided with a licence for use.
When a client requires full ownership of the rights to the images, this can be arranged for an additional fee known as a 'copyright buy-out'.
This copyright buy-out fee is usually calculated on where the photos will be used, for how long, and how much revenue the photographs will make the client in terms of sales etc.
Yes, please, as it helps my commercial photography business gain more exposure and attention. Unless we have agreed otherwise in the terms of usage.
In the rare event that I become ill, one of my trusted photographers will take over and complete the photoshoot on my behalf. However, the client has the right to cancel or postpone the job without cancellation fee if a replacement photographer is not an acceptable option. Should no other photographer be available, we will explore options to reschedule the session.
Above the line or "ATL", refers to advertisement campaigns that target a broad audience that will appeal to most people, such as TV, billboards, large digital screens, or global brand advertising campaigns for car manufacturers, food brands etc.
Below the line, or "BTL", is where advertising focused on a much more niche group of people, such as targeted social media advertisements, where ads are shown only to individuals who have shown an interest in a specific product or service. Other examples include a company website, direct email marketing campaigns, and industry brochures.
Most of my commercial photography is used for company websites, social media campaigns, and targeted consumers or brands which would be considered ‘BTL’ and much cheaper.
